Time for Life Makes Good Leaders Great

Don’t waste time with a coach that wants to drill you on your weaknesses.

You need a coach who can zero in on your strengths.  Most coaching firms teach balance in the four areas of leadership (executing, influencing, relationship building, and strategic thinking).  They still just don’t get it.  This will produce good results, but you’ll never have a world class team with this approach.  (Watch our coaching video to learn why this is a waste of your time).

As an executive life coach, I work with professionals who value personal and professional growth, agree with the importance of change, and know that they are fully capable of doing more with their life.

“Does your Team Give you all They’ve Got?”

peopleDo you get what you need from your team? I work with professionals who want to learn key strategies for leading their teams to top performance. We work in developing authenticity, communication skills, and management skills so they become great leaders for whom people want to give their optimal potential.

“How do you Deal with Risk?”

Are you too risk adverse? Are you too quick to take risks? Your answer to this question has a huge impact on where your career is at this moment, where it is heading, and how far it will go.

I help professionals identify their values so that they make decisions based on them. They no longer have to be risk adverse or indecisive in any way. Knowing their values enables them to make choices and take risks that are in congruency with what is most important to them. It also allows them to move outside of their comfort zone.  They see situations in a different manner and learn to apply new tactics to old problems. It gives you a whole new perspective on opportunities and possibilities and allows your potential to grow by leaps and bounds.

“How do you Handle Conflict”?

How many fires do you put out per day? Are they all put out on your first attempt? Are you usually satisfied with the way in which you put it out?

I help professionals to improve their evaluation and problem solving skills through exercises that enable them to become more focused on the end result and optimal goal. I help them to create clarity in their life and to prioritize work tasks and life goals that are congruent with their purpose.

As soon as you know your values and life goals, you can then design a professional and personal success plan to follow and to refer to when making professional decisions, career moves, and other major shifts.

“Do you Have Work Life Balance?”

When we discuss balance, we are speaking of several different ingredients.  One of these ingredients is work life balance. What does work life balance mean to you? Is it a foreign concept? Do you think that success and business and a fulfilled personal life are mutually exclusive?

You’re wrong.

In the construction industry, when a schedule gets tighter, the cost to perform work increases.  The majority of this increase is not related to overtime.  It is related to a concept called “loss of productivity”.  It works like this… The longer a crew continues to work overtime, the less productive they become.  About eight weeks into the process, this loss of productivity levels out around 40 percent! There are entire books dedicated to this concept.  These studies have been around for over 30 years and are well established in the industry.

I work with executives to achieve true and consistent success through balance. When you have balance between all aspects of your professional and your personal life, you are able to live a life in which you are fulfilled, energized, and effective. You create change and growth in every realm of your life, your business team, and yourself. This balance enables you to be more efficient with your time.  It helps you find ways to overcome obstacles much faster, and to apply “out of the box” thinking to problem solving.  This is the core of Success through Balance.

Corporate America acknowledges the importance of work and life balance. Companies around the United States have realized that employees who are balanced are the ones who are the most motivated, loyal, and productive at their jobs. Balanced employees take care of their physical and emotional health, manage time much more efficiently, and are much more likely to give 100% of their focus and energy to any task given. Their enthusiasm for their careers permeates the whole organization and increases company productivity and output. These trends are clearly visible in many studies done on coaching.

“I tried out coaching because I reached a point in my life where I felt completely out of control.  My career took 100% of my time and completely engulfed me.  The point came where I didn’t even know why I chose this profession. I rarely spent time with my family, or friends and needless to say my love life was non-existent. I knew I had to…”  Luis Fernandez, Program Director of Arts, Hialeah, FL.

“How do you Deal with Stress?”

Let’s face it. Stress is a major component of a lot of people’s lives. Unfortunately, too many people think that the levels of stress we are facing today are normal and acceptable. Well, think again! Stress is something that debilitates your growth as a person and as a professional. However, it is one of the things that we have control over and can manage as soon as we make a choice to do so.

I work with executives who want to life a full life.  These are people who want to feel fulfilled in both their personal and professional life. We work together to develop personalized strategies they can apply to their daily life to reduce and manage their amounts of stress. We also work on

ways to prevent stress from creating a negative and long term impact on them, clouding their judgment, being as efficient as possible, and making decisions from a centered and logical place.

“Why Hire A Time for Life Coach?”

streesed-womanYou need a coach for the same reason that world class athletes, singers, and executives need them. You need a coach because it provides a unique relationship specifically geared towards helping you meet your personal and professional objectives, develop your strengths, overcome obstacles in the path to your goals, and broaden your awareness of the possibilities and opportunities available to you.

Read our coaching expectations.

“How Do We do this?”

Sometimes, all it takes is the right questions to challenge you into changing old thinking and behavioral patterns. Another method commonly used is direct feedback and statements that push you to consider new opportunities and possibilities. Yet, another method is the use of exercises to remove self imposed obstacles in the path of your goals including negative self talk, negative though patterns, and negative action or lack of action.

I listen to you and am completely present during our coaching process. I observe and identify personality and communication traits and customize my coaching approach to your individual needs. These coaching techniques are incredibly powerful and can catapult you to taking on more complex roles, thriving in your career, and enhancing your professional experience overall.

We help many ambitious professionals like you to find unprecedented success through balance.
